With the vision of a world consisting of 100% natural energy, the company has been developing and connecting the electricity business with renewable energy development, EPC, asset management, operation and maintenance, and retail business. So far, the first mega solar power plant in Kumamoto Prefecture has been launched, and an international joint venture with a German company, that is one of the world's largest renewable energy development/EPC (design/procure/construction) companies, has been successfully launched and it has rapidly grown. has more than 200 employees with various backgrounds, including multinational members from over 28 countries, housewives, and veterans over the age of 60, and so on. The company is expanding its business to more than 5 countries. By 2030, they aim to work on a power generation business equivalent to 10 GW around the world.

[Job description]

(1) Communicate with investors (IR)

You will be responsible for the following investor relations tasks including reporting the board of directors meeting and management strategy to the investors, as well as negotiations (we now have three Japanese investors but will be having more conversations with overseas investors in the future).

● Exchange information with investors on a regular basis

● Report results of board meetings and shareholders' meetings to investors, negotiate with investors

● Explain press releases and other external documents and materials to investors

● Encourage collaboration with investors, etc.

You will be supported by members with expertise and predecessors, so there is no problem if you have no experience in dealing with shareholders.

(2) Establish and run a new internal committee related to policies, markets, etc.

In this task, you will be communicating with and providing information to top management and the various departments of the Shizen Energy Group as the

person in charge of the committee. You will also run the committee, as well as analyze policies, markets, etc. and collaborate with external organizations.

(Your part will be to define the requirement upon outsourcing the professional analysis.) Conversations and discussions may be carried out in Japanese

and/or English.

Specific tasks:

● Run the committee

● Manage an internal inquiry desk

● Plan and implement workshops for top management

● Collect information from external organizations, etc.

● Analyze and share the collected information internally

● Create and manage the platform of collected information

● Support the formulation of management strategies

● Support the formulation of department strategies

● Promote collaboration with academia, etc.

● Lobby and exchange information with government and relevant organizations, etc.

(3) Contact person for group companies

The company is currently collaborating with many affiliated companies on a case-by-case basis, and it is necessary to organize information and communicate with them appropriately. You will serve as a point of contact for the affiliated companies to consolidate and centrally manage information.

Based on your past experience, you will also be involved in a) running management meetings, board of directors meetings, shareholders' meetings

etc., b) Equity Finance and c) M&A assistance, as well as group company management.

[Requirements]

 -Business English level

- Business Japanese level or more, equivalent to N1 level

- Excellent communication skills

- Experience in achieving significant results (regardless of field or subject matter)

- Experience managing a team or department (regardless of the number of years or people)

- Experience in project management (cross-functional projects preferred)

Employment Type: Permanent

Trial period: 6 months

Expected Annual Salary: ¥5M - ¥8M 

Location: Tokyo or Fukuoka

*You will need to come to the office for supporting investors and major face-to-face meetings. (around 1-4 times a month).

*You may work from anywhere in Japan.

Working hours: Flex system Basic 8 hours / day (core time 10: 00-16: 00) * Shorter working hours and telecommuting system available
