#132 Support Engineer for Game-related Company
The company was established in 1999. There are 234 employees, and it is listed in the stock market. It produces and develops services and products such as middleware, advanced graphics and network technology for the game and video industries. They have deals with almost all game companies, from large to startups. .
You will be expected to join the enlighten development team, which is a middleware that provides real-time global illumination that helps game developers create compelling (lighting) games. This is a very advanced technology and has been adopted in many AAA title games. The company is currently challenging itself to further improve this technology, and is looking for more engineers for such challenge.
This team belongs to the Technology Division, and its members have deep knowledge of real-time rendering. You will work on various tasks in cooperation with other staff.
・ Investigate customer issues and propose solutions
・ Communicate with customers by e-mail, video conferencing, on-site support, etc.
・ Collaborate with the development team to prioritize issues and share information
・ Manage and prioritize support-related issues
・ Create support site content such as FAQ
・ Create and update product documentation
- Over 1 year of practical experience in large-scale software projects
- 1 year or more of practical experience in customer support (internal or external)
- Skills to solve problems, handle time management, and task tracking
- Fluency in English (no Japanese language ability OK)
[In addition to the above, at least one of the following experiences are required]
・ Experience using version control systems such as Perforce and Git
・ Experience using tools and pipelines for game development
・ Python / C # tool development experience
Expected annual income: 4 – 6 million JPY
Working location: Tokyo
Working hours 10: 00-18: 00 (Administrative 9: 00-17: 00 Sales 9: 30-17: 30)
Employment type: Full-time employment or contract employement (to be discussed), both regular.
Bonus: twice a year (June, December)
